Arillas is at the northern end of the west coast of Corfu, just over a mile from Agios Stefanos and 32 miles from Corfu Town and the airport. Arillas is centred on a small attractive resort reached by a road twisting down from a lush valley.

The pebbly Afionas beach is close to Arillas beach, just on the other side of a small stream. Aghios Georgios, which boasts a sweeping golden bay between headlands, is a longer walk to the south.

Windsurfing, sailing and waterskiing are other holiday activities, though this resort really invites the simple pleasures of beach and taverna. Arillas nightlife is restricted to a selection of tavernas and a few bars and a club.
