Green against blue, pines that come right down to the sea, fine sand, turquoise waters.
Yaliskari may be the smallest of the beaches on the western side of Corfu, but it is every bit as beautiful as any of its more famous neighbours (Glyfada and Kontogialos). Stock up on juice, coffee and sandwiches from the two snack bars and dive right in while enjoying the view of the sheer pine-clad rocks plunging into the sea - just be careful to watch out for currents.
Organised beach, with canoes and pedalos for hire.
The farther to the right you go, the sooner the sun will drop behind the rocks, which shade this end of the beach from about noon on. To get here, follow the signs on the Pelekas–Sinarades road.
